Stop the Pain of Isolation & Confusion that can lead to suicide.
Signs your teen may be struggling or feeling overwhelmed; You may find his/her personality shifting, they may be isolating or avoiding family time, behaviors may be out of character or odd and continue to escalate. All of these things can make a parent feel stressed, hurt and helpless to support them.
Statements like ” I’m going to crash out, I have brainrot, I need to lock in, or I want to unalive” are common things you might hear or notice when a teenager is carrying more stress than they know how to express. They can also be cues that talking with a supportive professional could help them open up in ways they may not feel ready for with a parent.
Understanding Gen Z, & Alpha
Today’s teens have been shaped by the combined impact of COVID‑19, rapid community growth, and major economic shifts. As a result, they are a generation that is pragmatic, financially aware, skeptical, and slow to trust. Born as digital natives, they are constantly connected online yet often feel profoundly lonely. Many Gen Z’s missed key developmental milestones during the pandemic, leaving gaps in confidence, communication skills, and real‑world connections and overall, socially underdeveloped.
Being raised by mostly millennials they are fluent in mental‑health language yet often disconnected from their own emotions. They ask for support but disengage quickly. They’re overwhelmed, identity‑fluid, politically charged, and saturated in collective fear. They expect therapy to be inclusive, collaborative, transparent, and validating — and they won’t stick around if it isn’t. Luckily, most of them are genuinely invested in understanding and improving their emotional well‑being. They are aware of their struggles and, more than ever, open to support.

Our Memberships
PAYMENT FLEXIBILITY & TRANSPARENCY
Counseling with Fearless Mental Health is a breath of fresh air. Our focus is to help your teen or family move toward wellness as soon as possible. We understand that humans have free will and may push back on change, but most kids genuinely want relief from the hurt they feel and the challenges they’re facing. To accelerate healing and support meaningful progress, we provide homework assignments or small tasks between sessions. These help reinforce skills, deepen insight, and keep momentum going outside the therapy session.
While we are not able to offer a sliding‑scale fee at this time, we strive to be flexible with special circumstances. If your family has a unique or complicated situation—we’re happy to discuss alternative options under different plans. Please email us to share your situation and explore possible accommodations. We do accept all major credit and debit cards as well as HSA and FSA account cards.
Monthly memberships are non‑refundable, however they can be placed on hold or canceled before the next billing with a one‑week notice. We consider all reasonable requests when unexpected situations arise—for example, if a teen is legally detained and cannot complete the month, or if a participating parent in family session is deployed by the military. Our goal is to support your family with compassion, clarity, and flexibility as you navigate whatever challenges come your way. You have the flexibility to change appointments up to 24hr ahead of time to suite the needs of your schedule.

What are parents saying?
Shauna Stimmel is an incredible practitioner, very professional and knowledgeable! She truly understands the complexities of youth and how to effectively help them navigate the very real challenges they face. She worked intensively with our son during a very difficult time in his life. She is the first therapist in four years that achieved the impossible with our teenager. She employed very creative and personalized tactics to help achieve these results. Shauna went above and beyond in helping us also understand our role as parents and how we could improve, but also what we were doing well; she recommended excellent books and articles and opened up our mind to the importance that personality and love languages play in relationships, especially parent/child.
We highly recommend Shauna for your child’s emotional/mental health and to also improve and understand your own parenting much more clearly.
5 stars for Shauna Stimmel

“Shauna showed compassion and the ability to build strong rapport and trust quickly with our teenage son while also helping him stay accountable for his own actions toward wellness. She is highly knowledgeable about therapeutic approaches and applies them in a seamless way to help her clients holistically. She also helped resource our family so that we have the tools we need to continue to support his progress moving forward. Our son is solidly on the road to wellness recovery thanks to Shauna’s therapeutic intervention.”
